| It is SO beautiful out today. SO nice that I rolled down all my windows while I was driving home and just sang really loud along with the music. I love summer days like that. The breeze going through, and the sun shining, and the sky just make you feel so much that, oh my, God is so good.
"By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for
us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together
with God because of our Master Jesus. And that's not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise." Romans 5:1, The Message

| My job has been going great. The weather is beautiful. Friends are wonderful. World Cup is exciting (even if the US was disappointing). I laugh everytime I watch the Office. And it's very soon the weekend.
God is good.

| I moved my stuff into my room today - a combination of great and a little weird. It feels so good to have my room be filled again and be back in my bed. It just felt a little weird to unpack all of my college things, and "settle in" somewhere else. I like the way my room looks now though. It feels more like me again, and I like that I'm settled for awhile now. Summer's been so good so far ............. I love all of the good conversations I've been having with people and all the things you can learn from listening to and spending time with other people. Good stuff, really.

| Take these hands and lift them up
For I have not the strength to praise You near enough
For I have nothing, I have nothing without You
Take my voice and pour it out
Let it sing the songs of mercy I have found
For I have nothing, I have nothing without You
All my soul needs
Is all Your love to cover me
So all the world will see
That I have nothing without You
Take my body and build it up
May it be broken as an offering of love
For I have nothing, I have nothing without You
All my soul needs
Is all Your love to cover me
So all the world will see
That I have nothing
But I love You
With all my heart
With all my soul
With all my mind
With all the strength that I can find
Take my time here on this earth
And let it glorify all that You are worth
For I am nothing,
I am nothing without You

edit:: This has been the song that perfectly fit my week. It is exactly where my heart was at, in need of so much grace. I love when a song can describe how I feel so well. This week is going to be a little fuller, but I'm loving the warmer days and that it stays light outside so much longer. Today I bought about three bags worth of kids books at the flea market in town. I mean, I realized today that I could be a diehard flea marketer I think - it's hard to pass something up when it's 25 cents. I love kids' books though, and since I'm going to be a teacher, I feel like I can use that as a pretty good excuse :) | | |
| I am thankful for Sunday afternoons, relaxing at home, and trying to cut trees with my mom. And for friends who encourage me! And for the things in life that scare me And for things that God brings in your life that you just know are from Him And for "fresh touches" of God that bring renewal And for good ol' coffee, which gets me through many a morning, and evening at that And for music which says what we can't describe a lot of the time And for life, just purely and straight up-ly, living out life.
